press release: OPEN AUDITIONS FOR THE ADDAMS FAMILY | 7/30 /2018 & 7/31/2018

MIDLAND, Mich. – Center Stage Theatre of Midland Center for the Arts announces open auditions on July 30 and 31 at 6:30 p.m. for its October 2018 production of “The Addams Family.” Auditions will take place at Midland Center for the Arts, 1801 W. Saint Andrews Road. Auditionees may attend either date, but should sign up ahead of time and plan to stay for the entire 3-hour audition. Casting is for 22 performers of all ages and types, including one female to play a 102-year-old woman; a male to play a 12-year-old boy; and an extremely tall male performer. Performance dates are Oct. 13 – 28, 2018. Directed by Adam Gardner-Northrop.

The Addams kids are growing up and beloved daughter Wednesday has fallen in love with a regular guy from a respectable family. When she invites her beau and his parents for dinner, the Addams family hilariously faces the spooky nightmare they have avoided for hundreds of years: normalcy.
