MIDLAND, Mich. – Midland Center for the Arts is offering DESTINATION: ArtPrize, charter bus service to view the ArtPrize competition in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Departure is from the Midland Center for the Arts parking lot on Sept. 25, at 8 a.m. Cost for the day-long trip is $45; $35 for Alden B. Dow Museum members. Participants are responsible for providing or purchasing their own meals. Comfortable walking shoes are a must as is an umbrella in case of rain. This year’s competition features over 1,500 artists from across the globe, displaying in venues large and small, indoor and outdoor. ArtPrize 2018 runs from Sept. 19 through Oct. 2.
