Opening night will be, literally, “out of this world” in this unprecedented multimedia event. Watch in awe as striking NASA images and video are projected onto a giant screen above the orchestra performing Holst’s symphonic blockbuster. Be sure to bring your little astronauts and space lovers alike and travel the galaxy without leaving your seat! Two of Ravel’s impeccable works round out the program: one highly spirited; the other luxuriant and romantic.

Families attending the concert are invited to atttend our Holy Moly Mars STEAM Night!
Beginning at 7 pm, kids are ainvited to join us on an adventure of fun science and music activities in the Little Theatre while the adults listen to two of Ravel’s works during the first half of the concert. Activities will include a session in our portable indoor planetarium, building rocketships, and an instrument petting zoo, where kids can explore and try out a family of instruments! Free for ticket holders, adults can pick up their little astronauts at intermission before returning to the auditorium to explore the music and video from NASA of The Planets. Recommended for grades 1 – 5.
