Student Matinee Performances
Midland Center for the Arts offers Weekday Student Matinee performances for educational groups. These theater experiences indulge the imagination while supporting arts (visual, music, dance, etc) and literature curriculum.

Browse our offerings of Field Trips and available Add-On Activities! Pricing begins at just $4 per student and chaperone, and tours must be booked at least two weeks in advance of your desired tour date.

Midland County Historical Society offers guided educational trips to the 1874 Bradley Home, the Herbert H. Dow Museum and Brinewell, the Dorothy Dow Arbury Gallery, and through our temporary exhibitions. Our facilities are open year-round for educational/group programs by pre-arrangement. Pricing begins at just $4 per student or chaperone; teachers and administrators are FREE. Non-school group fees may vary.

Find Midland Center programs that will augment your unique curriculum needs, whether for an individual student or a group. Museum-based, on-site education programs or tours are available to homeschool groups of 10 or more at our discounted educational rate. Adults pay regular admission. Email our Education Department for more information.
Activities for all divisions of Boy and Girl Scouts can be custom tailored to better benefit each age group. Included are self-guided tours, scavenger hunts and badge activities. During special exhibitions (past examples: Egypt, A T-Rex Named Sue, Grossology, etc.) the Museum may offer a specialty patch with the tour. Midland Center for the Arts is proud to partner with Midland Public Schools to bring The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts – Partners in Education Program to the Great Lakes Bay Region!
This program mentors arts organizations in utilizing professional teaching artists to promote Arts Integration in the classroom. Arts Integration uses art forms to help teach, reinforce or evaluate the understanding of Core Curricular subjects and concepts, and expands educators’ toolkits for reaching students of all learning styles.
