Winter Exhibits Reception

Join the Midland Center for the Arts in the galleries of the Alden B Dow Museum for a night or art science and fun as we celebrate the opening of our winter exhibits. Awards presentations will also take place for the Museum Student Exhibition winners and the 2012 museum volunteers in honor of their valued service. Open to the public, light Refreshments and d'oeuvres will be served.
On display will be:
MUSEUM SCHOOL STUDENT EXHIBITION
Museum School students showcase artwork in a wide range of visual media created from concepts and techniques learned during class.
LEE-NAM LEE: A Conversation between Monet and Sochi
Artist Lee nam Lee uses the power of technology and movement to create visual poetry that will intrigue the viewer with fresh interpretations of classic works of art.
THE ANATOMY OF AN IDEA: An Invitational Exhibition
Accomplished artists display diverse directions in the depiction of human anatomy. Featured artists include Eugene Clark of Detroit, Tricia Kleinot of New York, and Armin Mersmann and B. B. Winslow of Midland.
