Fused Glass for Beginners

Learn fundamentals of fusing glass while creating your own fused glass piece! Each student will end up with one 5- to 6-inch tile/sun catcher or wind chime and 2 small jewelry pieces. Pieces will be ready for pick-up the following week.

Topics will include basic fusing process, glass compatibility, firing schedules, annealing, design and safety. All supplies included; no experience necessary. Be ready to have a good time, be creative and make some glass art for yourself, family or friends!

Be sure to wear long pants & comfortable closed-toe shoes. Safety glasses will be provided, but bring an apron. Directions to the instructors' home studio will be given to each student the week of the class.
