Paint the Portrait in Acrylic

In this “DAY” class we will be studying the human portrait. We will start with the proportions of the face in pencil. Depth, shading, blending, and proportion will be stressed. You will learn how to mix skin tones from 8 golden acrylic colors. We will be making several skin tone charts before deciding which portrait the student will paint. Photographing the face will also be discussed and what photo will make a good portrait.
