AB Dow Classes
Sculpting wax and turning it into fantastic jewelry is fun and that is what lost wax casting is all about.
Students will choose from provided designs and be guided through the steps to create a finished piece of
jewelry. Areas of focus will be: overall design, form, wax working techniques, functionality, detailing, the
casting process and finishing. This class is geared towards beginners, but also may be great refresher
course for returning students. Metal for casting can be purchased through the instructor. Those students who have taken the first class well further their studies with more advance techniques.
