Charcoal-the Versatile Medium

This class will give students the opportunity to continue to develop their drawing skills as they explore the creative and expressive possibilities that drawing in charcoal offers. Students will learn the importance of mark making and line quality as they explore this versatile medium through gesture drawing. They will acquire skills in creating tone and form while learning about the papers, tools and techniques specific to drawing in charcoal.
