The Family 4-Pack is a discount for 2 adults and 2 students. To purchase the 4-Pack, please select the Family 4 Pack rate at the right. It will automatically reserve 4 spots for you, and calculate your total based on the 4-Pack discount rate. Any additional tickets outside of the 4-pack must be purchased at the full ticket price.

Anyone ages 3 and up must have a ticket due to space limitations.

Explore the ancient Salt Water tropical sea that once covered the State of Michigan. Walk along the floor of this ocean looking for creatures that once inhabited it. Join PaleoJoe as he guides you through this treasure trove of Michigan Fossils. The group will stop at no less than 3 fabulous sites where participants can pick up and keep as many fossils as they can carry. Brief discussion on site will explain our ancient prehistoric past and what lies beneath the ground. The final stop deep in the LaFarge Quarry in Alpena Michigan you will see literally millions of fossils and be able to keep as many as you can carry. Make it a family trip and bring a bucket to take home any fossils you find.

You are responsible for your own travel and accommodations if necessary. Maps and itinerary, as well as lodging and restaurant information will be provided. Participants are responsible for providing their own snacks and lunch on the day of the event. Registrants must sign a waiver to participate. Space is limited for this exclusive experience! Refunds for this program will only be provided if your space can be filled.
