Metal Point Techniques
Learn the technique of the renaissance masters in this two session class. Metal point drawing has a long history, learn about the history of this drawing technique in two three hour sessions. The sessions include a history of metal point, silver, gold, copper, lead along with how to prepare the drawing medium, and make or buy your own drawing styli. The second half of the workshop will be a discussion of modern enhancements to the technique and a critique of work produced by students.
