press release: “jingle: a holiday extravaganza” | 12/16/2017

Nov. 27, 2017

Join Midland Center for the Arts’ Chorale, Camerata Singers, Men of Music and Bella Voce Singers as they share the excitement of December with a joyous holiday concert ideal for all ages. Jingle: A Holiday Extravaganza is on stage Dec. 16, at 7 p.m. at Midland Center for the Arts. Conducted by Dr. Matt Travis, Heather DeGroot, Tracey Kempsell and Grace Marra.

The choral holiday favorite is back in a whole new way as favorite classics will be performed in one seamless musical concert. Performers will be singing from the back of the balcony to the front of the stage and everywhere in between. You’ll be wondering where the next great tune will be performed. Don’t miss this thrilling new slant on the region’s holiday treat!

As in years past, ticket holders are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy; collection will take place on stage during the show and toys will be donated to the Salvation Army’s Toy Drive.

Come early to hear the Fulkerson Music Studio’s Resonators Percussion Ensemble in the Auditorium lobby starting at 6:45 p.m.

Tickets are $16 for adults; $11 for students and are available at www.midlandcenter.org, at the Center Ticket Office or at (800) 523-7649. Choral season sponsor is Dow Chemical Employees’ Credit Union.
