General Tour Guidelines

Our goal is to provide students with experiential learning opportunities in the areas of science, history and the arts. Tours can reinforce classroom studies or act as stand-alone lessons. Educators may schedule a visit to the exhibition prior to their tour for planning purposes by contacting the Education Department.

Programs are available at the Alden B. Dow Museum of Science & Art as well as the Midland County Historical Society’s Heritage Park. Guided programs and tours vary in length based on the experience desired, ranging from 45-minute to full-day programs.

Pre-registration is required for all school visits.

To qualify for special admission rates, two-week notice is required. To request a tour please submit our Group Visit Request Form.
