Cuisine of the World

Explore world cuisine from Italy, Japan, France & Argentina with Chef Aaron Gaertner for our new hands-on cooking series designed to get you “in the mix” cooking and creating at your own station. Ingredients supplied. Participants are asked to bring some basic cooking gadgets & tools. Supply list available with registration. Students will leave with recipes in hand to perfect at home. All experience levels welcome.

Modern American Cuisine – A Dinner by Chef Aaron Gaertner

Chef Aaron Gaertner (executive chef of Golden Glow Ballroom) leads a four-course gastronomic journey complete with a tasting of wine to complement the menu. Sit back and relax as he demonstrates cutting-edge cooking techniques you can use in your own kitchen. Your palate will thank you!

End of Term Critique

Join Armin Mersmann, MCFTA Artist in Residence, for this unique opportunity to discuss your art – as well as the art of others – in a supportive environment. Presented works must be created during a fall 2014 MCFTA class, with artwork limited to one per person. This is a social gathering open to students, faculty and friends, whether presenting work or not.

Held in the Saints & Sinners Lounge inside Midland Center for the Arts, admission is FREE with a cash bar and light refreshments available.
