Creativity Camps: Carousels to Comedy
1 & 2 Youth Summer Camp

Cost: $180 Subscribers $165
Students will rotate through different activities, divided by age group, exploring carousels and basic comic acting techniques. Different artistic medium will be used: clay, painting, mask-making and comic theatre improvisations. Teachers: Karen Thams (clay, painting clay, drawing); Kristen Lences & Laurelei Horton (mask-making, backstage fun); Kristiina Pilnik & Denyse Clayton (theatre basics, improvs). Collaboration between AB Dow, TG and MS. Students should bring non refrigerated lunch. Full week, 9:30 to 4:30 with supervised drop-off and Pick included 9:00 am to 5:oo pm.

Through crafts, games, and food, campers will learn about the girls of American history. Changes are made for each age level, so if you enjoyed Junior History Girls Camp last year, join us again this summer for a new and exciting experience!

A two-week program. Snap outdoor photos while you learn the fundamentals of photographic composition. Create photo calendars, bookmarks, cards, refrigerator magnets and more. Bring a camera and two rolls of film or three disposable cameras. The cost of developing two rolls of film is included in tuition.

Teen Clay Youth Summer Camp

A three-week program. Learn the fundamentals of working with clay. Hand-building methods, including pinch, coil, and slab construction, will be introduced. Basic techniques of creating forms on the potter’s wheel will be explored. Individual design and style is encouraged.

A four-week camp. Learn specific elements of theatre production, including technical support, with special emphasis on acting technique and character development. The second half of the day will be spent rehearsing for the production of your play! Camp wraps up with a performance for family, friends and the general public! A wealth of theatre learning and a ton of fun with terrific instructors!
