Charlie is a little on the shy side and really doesn’t want to mingle with other people while on vacation at a fishing lodge in rural Georgia. His traveling buddy has a great idea: He’ll tell everyone that Charlie is from a foreign country and doesn’t speak English. Voila! Problem solved! Until Charlie overhears all kinds of eye-popping and hilarious revelations by people who genuinely believe that he can’t understand a word of it. The next thing he knows, Charlie “The Foreigner” finds himself mixed up in some of the zaniest situations he could ever imagine! Written by Larry Shue.

When attorney Atticus Finch defends a young black man accused of raping a white teenage girl in deep south Alabama during the 1930s, deep-seated prejudices threaten to tear their small town apart. Young Scout Finch learns from her quietly courageous father that all men are entitled to equal treatment in a court of law regardless of intense opposition from society, and in her innocence helps diffuse the pending violence. The deeply moving story of how one man's quiet convictions transformed a town and changed its course for the future; a story about courage, racial injustice, the death of innocence and of coming of age. By Christopher Sergel,
based upon the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel by Harper Lee.

On a cold, clear, moonless night in the middle of winter, all is not quite what it seems in the remote, mythical town of Almost, Maine. As the northern lights hover in the star-filled sky above, Almost’s residents find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and often hilarious ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. But the bruises heal, and the hearts mend – almost – in this delightful midwinter night’s dream. Written by John Cariani. Refreshments offered before the show.

Meet Alexa Vere de Vere, a rich, fabulous and oh-so-sensational black-clad woman of mystery who’s made the celebrity world her home. Maybe she’s a record producer, maybe she’s a film agent; what is clear is that she wants novelist Evan Wyler, the media’s hottest thing-of-the-moment, to write the screenplay of her life story. In return, Alexa offers Evan a passport to the glamorous world of fame, fortune and the best tables everywhere, enticing him like a bee to honey.
And then Alexa vanishes, leaving Evan to foot the bill for all the dinners and Armani suits they’ve gone through. While trying to find her, Evan discovers her deep, dark secret and learns that he is not the only one who has fallen under her spell. A sexy, insightful satire about succumbing to the “buzz” and glamour of showbiz. Written by Douglas Carter Beane.
Winner of the Outer Critics Circle Award and Obie Award.

Stinky title for an hilarious musical! This multi-award-winning satirical comedy musical will delight you as it pokes fun at capitalism, bureaucracy and petty small town politics. Drawing from "West Side Story," "Chicago," and "Les Misérables" among others, the show even pays witty and irreverent homage to musical theatre itself!
Urinetown is a town plagued by a 20-year drought, where water has become so scarce that only the extremely wealthy can enjoy private toilets – the masses are at the mercy of a greedy corporation that has a stranglehold on the town’s public amenities and charges the townsfolk exorbitant fees to carry out their most private and basic needs. Surely, an uprising must be on the horizon. . . Who will lead the downtrodden citizens to conquer these tyrannical bureaucrats?. . . Famous songs from the show include “It’s a Privilege to Pee” and “Run, Freedom, Run.”
Music & lyrics by Mark Hollmann; book & lyrics by Greg Kotis.
Winner of three Tony Awards, three Outer Critic’s Circle Awards, two Lucille Lortel Awards, and two Obie Awards.
