   OVERVIEW OF MUSIC SOCIETY

Music Society is an association of performing groups that provide
entertainment that is exciting, fun and leaves you with goose bumps!

Community participation has been the lifeblood of Music Society for over 55 years, producing an exciting variety of programs including Broadway musicals, popular choral works, classic jazz and dance.

Music Society also presents guest artists and dance companies, providing their volunteers the opportunity to work with professionals in the music world.

Music Society sponsors the following:
Music Theatre: a large group of dedicated singers, actors
and technical theatre volunteers who participate on a show-by-show basis through audition or by expressing interest in tech crew.
The Youth Honors Choral Program: The YHC Program is a year-long commitment for grades 3 through 8, with rehearsals once a week and multiple performance opportunities. Partial to full scholarships are available. Check for auditions.

Adult ensembles include: Men of Music, Midland Camerata Singers and Chorale, performing throughout the community.

Through these and other programs, Music Society provides endless opportunities for singers, dancers, actors and stagehands.
