MATRIX:MIDLAND – Big names on stage
MATRIX:MIDLAND brings “big city” professional performances to the Great Lakes Bay Region throughout the year. From headlining performers to emerging new artists, you’re certain to find an old favorite in our lineup – and maybe discover a new one, too!

Appearing on stage in recent years were “Jungle” Jack Hanna, Pilobolus dance troupe, musicians Lyle Lovett and John Hiatt, and the Soweto Gospel Choir.

MATRIX:MIDLAND Festival – Celebrating the Arts, Sciences & Humanities
MATRIX:MIDLAND Festival brings a world of informative, educational and sophisticated performances and lectures right to our doorstep. Occurring every June, MATRIX:MIDLAND Festival is a 2-week celebration of the arts, sciences and humanities. Don’t miss your opportunity to learn new things, enjoy great music, and engage your imagination.

Recent acts include famous names like comedian Brian Regan, Broadway star Sutton Foster, a cappella sensation Straight No Chaser, Food Network personality Alton Brown and country superstar Blake Shelton.

MATRIX:MIDLAND Cinema – Screening remarkable films
MATRIX:MIDLAND Cinema offers a line-up of contemporary films featuring the exceptional talents of American and international directors, writers and actors. Current films are screened, providing the community the opportunity to view award-winning films that are not traditionally widely released.

Past screenings include Herb and Dorothy, Bright Star, An Education, Coco Before Chanel and Frozen River.
