TASTY TALES (for preschoolers)

 Read & Feed Program - Tasty Tales

Combine 2 cups of animated storytelling, a cup of cooking, a tablespoon of cool objects and a splash of eating and you have the recipe for great memories with a young child that you love!
The MCHS is happy to announce the line-up for an all-new season of Tasty Tales Storytime. Stories are in the Carriage House Hall at 1:30 pm, twice a month and are best suited to ages 3-7.
Carriage House Hall - 1:30 p.m.
Admission: $4 per child or $3 per MCHS member child; adult chaperones and babies are no charge.

May 5 - Mother's Day - "Dirt on Their Skirts" and "Mama Played Baseball" - Caramel Corn
May 19 - Tea Party - "Electra and the Charlotte Russe" and "Dotty Dolly" - Tea and Charlotte Russe.

June 2 - Appalachian Folk Tales - "Aunt Nancy and Cousin Lazybones" and "Soap! Soap! Don't Forget the Soap!" - French Toast.
June 16 - Explore America - "Fourth of July on the Plains" and "Don't Forget Winona" - Peach Pie.
July 7 - Blueberry Books - "Blueberries for Sal" and "Peter in Blueberry Land" - Blueberry Buckle.
July 21 - Japan - "The Bicycle Man" and "Grandfather's Journey" - Egg Rolls or Spiced Rice or Rice Cakes.
August 4 - Celebrate Art! - "Camille and the Sunflowers" and "Degas and the Little Dancer" - French Breakfast Muffins.
August 18 - Biscuit/Homemade Day- "Old Thunder and Miss Raney" and "A Packet of Seeds" - Sooner Biscuits
