ANNUAL EVENTS

These fundraising events help support exhibitions, art and science classes, workshops, outreach and other educational programs:

EARTH DAY

Every April, the Alden B. Dow Museum of Science and Art and the American Chemical Society (Midland Section) co-host this free event, held in the lobby of the Midland Center for the Arts. Lots of Earth Day activities for all ages are offered, including informational booths and hands-on activities from the American Chemical Society. For more information, contact Debbie Anderson.

SUMMER ART FAIR

Always held on the first weekend in June, outdoors rain or shine on the beautiful grounds of Midland Center for the Arts. Featuring the beautiful works of over 120 juried artists along with food vendors, street musicians, artists demonstrations and a children's activity corner. Admission is FREE. VINTAGE EVENING

This popular autumn event takes place in the museum’s art galleries and includes a sampling of a large selection of wines, international cheeses, plus delectable hors d’oeuvres. A list describing featured wines is provided and attendees are able to order wines from the evening’s offerings at special discounted prices. Tickets are available in the fall at Eastman Party Store or at the MCFTA Ticket Office. For more information, contact Emmy Mills .

HOLIDAY ART FAIR

This event showcases beautiful arts and crafts by juried artists and is held every November - perfect for holiday shopping! Held in the spacious lobby of the Midland Center for the Arts it features tasty holiday treats, children's activities, artist demonstrations and a visit from Santa Claus!
