The Alden B. Dow Museum of Science & Art is located inside Midland Center for the Arts and consists of an interactive and engaging science gallery (the Hall of Ideas) and over 7,000 square feet of gallery space featuring changing visual art and science exhibitions to explore throughout the year.

Groups of 15-24: 10% discount*
Groups of 25 or more: 15% discount*
(*discount on regular admission rate for the exhibition being toured)

School Groups:
$3 per student and chaperones. Teachers admitted free. $5 per college student. Prices are subject to change or be more for special exhibitions. PRE-REGISTRATION required; email Debbie Anderson to inquire.

*Select exhibits may require an additional fee for both members and non-members.

School Bus Transportation Grants - Deadline Feb. 8, 2010:
The Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs announces the availability of School Bus Fast Grants - grants of up to $500 per K-12 school building for the documented transportation cost of a field trip to designated MCACA-affiliated arts and culture organizations. The deadline to apply is February 8, 2010. Application, guidelines and the list of organizations are on MCACA's website: www.themedc.org/arts. Jason Expedition – A different science topic is explored yearly in classrooms across the nation. The program culminates in a broadcast about research being done in that area of science.
